French, late 19th century. Fine satinwood Louis XV-style bombe commode, with a serpentine front and apron, allover parquetry inlay, a black and white marble top, the two front drawers inlaid with a central rose medallion within a rocaille cartouche, with gilt bronze mounted ormolu pulls and mounts, raised on cabriole legs ending in sabots. Unmarked. Approximate height 35.5", width 50", depth 21".
