A Christopher Dresser (Scottish, 1834-1904) for Minton (English, founded 1793) majolica glazed ceramic 'Chinese Vase', circa 1865, in the form of a jar with beautiful celadon glaze, with flared mouth, vase supported by integral tripod stand with three beast or dog masks above pierced foliate base centered by large lotus flower, base with braided rim and rosette accents, supported on three square block feet, marked to underside "Minton", "1014", "A", registry mark. Approximate height 36.25".
