Louis XVI paint, gesso and parcel gilt decorated trumeau mirror with square looking glass, with hand painted figural scene on canvas laid on wooden panel; frame with stepped cornice, ribbon tied florette, beaded trim to looking glass and urn decoration; painted scene (likely late 19th century), oil on canvas, depicting figural outdoor scene with two male figures scaling lakeside cliffs, with house or castle on the far side of the lake, with mountains in the distance, apparently unsigned. Overall approximately (across cornice) 67" x 47.75".
