Kris Cox (American (California/ Colorado), b. 1951). "Concentric Episode Series: Bone 72-1" - 1997, mixed media on wood panel, signed and dated to verso. Minimalist large format square abstract painting with an ecru or bone colored field marked with concentric rings of dots, some piercing the wood panel and others accented with blue, red, or yellow paint, the overall field with an indistinct and colorless grid pattern below the waxy surface. Verso of structure inscribed with title, medium, signature, and date; also with label from Fay Gold Gallery, Atlanta, Georgia.
