French, 20th century. A gray painted Empire Style lit en bateau or daybed comprising eight square paneled legs, the exterior legs of subtly outswept form and the interior legs of straight form with paw feet, surmounted with opposing outward sloping seat backs bearing straight arms, shorter to one side of bed, each with harpy busts under rosette handgrips. With fitted cushion covered in apricot silk with two bolster pillows covered in coordinating floral textile. Approximate height 26", width 69.75", depth 27", seat height 9".
