Chinese late 19th/early 20th century. A set of 12 porcelain plates of round form with scalloped rims with hand painted Rose Medallion enamel decoration in the traditional style with alternating figural and floral cartouches flanking a central gilt ring medallion bearing a bird and prunus fruit, all reserved to a ground of gilt and green scrolling vines with butterflies. Each unmarked. Approximate diameter 8.5".
