Francis Du Mont (French, late 19th/ early 20th century). "Musicians" - 1904, oil on canvas, signed and dated lower left. Genre scene painting depicting a man and woman in a dark interior wearing fancy 18th century dress huddled around an open music book, the woman playing a lute and the man playing a violin as he rests on a leather upholstered stool. Framed approximately 22.5" x 19.5". Unframed approximately 18.25" x 15".
