Continental, Late 19th/ early 20th century. Gilt bronze figural desk stand of oblong oval form with floral diaper patterned banding around stained wood surface with four gilt metal accented holes for housing pens; center with seated winged nude cherub or putto with short curled hair with urn between legs for ink storage, tapered drum form barrel on back with pierced holes and twisted cap for additional storage. Unmarked. Approximate height 4.25", width 5.5", depth 4.25".
