FABERGE SILVER-GILT, ENAMEL & MOONSTONE LADY'S MESH BAG, C. 1908-1926, W 6 7/8", L 6 1/2":.840 silver. The frame enameled blue at one side, accented with gilt laurel leaves and set with six moonstone cabochons, hallmarked at the interior rim with the Faberge mark and the national assay mark for 1908-1926 consisting of an oval enclosing a female profile and 84, phi and P in an rectangle, and another, L.11 3/4" to the top of the handle. Eye rings to hold the chain also hallmarked. Provenance, Sotheby's, lot 129. C. 13 1/4 troy ounces by electronic balance including the non-silver parts.
