Provenance on index card inside of clack states that the clock was purchased at the Dr. Bradle Harris estate sale of Sept. 11, 1997 with Mrs. Harris having purchased it from the Newton estate on Huron St. (Mrs. Newton was curator for Greenfield Village for Henry Ford).
