20th Century Chinese export red lacquered carved altar table cabinet with flanged ends over a open compartment with pierced cloud scroll handles, above a pair of paneled doors relief carved with large floral blossoms, prunus and peony and male and female peacock bordered relief carved foliage, over a pair of small paneled and relief carved drawers, the whole altar with geometric spiral meander and leafy flowering blossoms, the sides carved with precious objects and foliage. Height 31.75", width 34.6", depth 13.9".
