GEORGE III STERLING SILVER & AGATE VINAIGRETTE BY JOSEPH TAYLOR, BIRMINGHAM, 1798-1799, DIA 1 1/4":Circular with hinged cover inset with polished agate, opening to vermeil interior with pierced and hinged liner, both the exterior cover and underside bordered by bright cut engraving. Hallmarks at the interior include lion passant, king's profile, anchor, date letter a in a shield, and maker's mark IT in a rectangle. Height approximately 3/4". Ex.
