TUNIS PONSEN (AMERICAN 1891-1961), WATERCOLORS, 3, 16 5/8" X 12 1/2" - 14 3/4" X 21 5/8", LANDSCAPES:On paper; c. 1930's to 1940's; each signed; one with estate stamp as well; unframed. Provenance: Ex. Coll. Patrick Coffey, Brighton, MI, contributing author to "The Lost Paintings of Tunis Ponsen" exhibition catalogue, and former president of The Associates of the American Wing, Detroit Institute of Arts; acquired by Mr. Coffey directly from Tunis Ponsen's niece, Angenita Morris (she was the sole heir to Ponsen's estate when he died in 1968). A Patrick Coffey certificate of authenticity accompanies each watercolor.
