JOSEPH D. BULONE (AMER. LATE 20 TH C), EGYPTIAN STYLE WOOD SCULPTURE C 1987 6' H. X 16" ISIS-HORUS:per the artist he combined the two Deities of Isis and son Horus into one sculpture; the piece is of horizontally laminated 3/4" mahogany plywood to resemble mummy wrapping. The painted cavities or negative areas were devised to give the feeling of fragmentation or antiquity. The artist is a graduate of Cranbrook Art (Mich.) and a stylist at General Motors Design Center.
