ROSENBERG, NISBET & HASSAM, ETCHINGS, 'THE BI-CENTENNIAL PAGEANT OF GEORGE WASHINGTON', THREE, 1932:Including 1 by Louis Conrad Rosenberg, number 16, "Farming at Mount Vernon", pencil signed lower center, titled with number 16 lower left, initialed in the plate, 9" x 12 5/8"; 1 by Robert Nisbet, number 2, "Conquering the Wilderness", pencil signed lower right, titled with number 2 lower left, 8 7/8" x 12 1/2"; and 1 by Childe Hassam, "Bowling on the Green", initialed in pencil lower center, signed and dated in the plate, titled in pencil lower left with number 20, 8 1/4" x 13 1/4"; all measuring 14 1/2" x 19" with a circular watermark at the lower left corner, and framed under glass in identical simple black frames. Originally from a suite of 20 etchings depicting events in Washington's life, edited by John Taylor Arms and Harry A. Ogden of New York, published by the George Washington Memorial Association.
