GERMAN PEWTER COVERED TUREEN AND UNDER PLATE, H 10 1/2", L 17" (TRAY):Each having a scroll design, with the tureen having two handles, a footed base and a finial on the lid. On the underside of the tureen are two identical, faded maker's marks of "...Zimmn" and an image of Justice (a winged figure with scales). The underside of the plate has "Gallvs Apeller" with two identical faded images of a winged figure blowing into a trumpet that is held in his right hand and what appears to be a shield with the image of a bridge on it in his left.
