Kieninger & Obergfell Company (German, 1912- ). A brass mounted table or desk world clock with large ivory tone circular face and brass minute and hour hands, set upon a brass plinth mounted with two brass balls in support of round clock. Face with applied roman numerals at quarter hours and gilt decoration of world map with time zones demarcated by pyramidal black line cartouches and text throughout in black documenting city names in each time zone. A revolving dial sets behind face and documents the 24 hour clock. Marked on face above 6:00 "Kundo" and below 6:00 "Made in Germany". Inscribed on bottom of plinth "Kieninger & Obergfell, Made in West Germany", and on back of structure "B2166". Approximately 9 3/4" tall x 9 1/8" wide x 3 1/8" deep.
