17TH CENTURY ENGLISH DOCUMENTS, LEWIS CAPEN COLLECTION, FIVE PIECES:Including one single sheet paper document mentioning the Barone of Dorchester (app. 8" x 11"), one document c. 1765 ("…in the fifth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third ...") with "Glen Collete" and a remnant of a red wax seal at the bottom (19 1/2" x 24 3/4"), one c. 1636 signed George G. Fauerton?; (18 1/2" x 12 1/4"), one from the 17th century (from the reign of King James, 20" x 13 3/4") and one c. 1656-the smallest document. The writing is difficult to read on each document (12 1/2" x 7"). The four vellum documents have writing on the exterior as well.
