WALTHAM, AMERICAN FEDERAL REVIVAL GILT GESSO & WOOD CLOCK WITH EGLOMISE PANELS, C. 1920, H 44":A very large lyre-form banjo wall clock by Waltham with a lacquered brass ball finial above a molded lacquered brass bezel and original convex glass door opening to a convex white enamel dial; the movement above an acanthus leaf and scroll frame with an eglomaise tablet showing a patriotic motif, above a pendulum box with molded frame and matching eglomise tablet, all on a molded gilt bracket. Overall H.44 1/2" x 12" x 4 1/2". Provenance: purchased by the Detroit Club in 1922.
