JAPANESE BRIDAL LACQUER CHEST WITH MIRROR 5 DRAWERS, C1850, H 14", W 15", D 12" MIRROR H12":Two long drawers. 2nd drawer with lock, over one deep drawer sided by 2 short drawers. Over two long drawers and a small notion drawer. Engraved brass drawer pulls, round plates and brass handles. At one side is a single drawer which fits to the rear of the drawers mentioned above. Beautiful black lacquer ground with all over gilt floral decoration. Generally very good condition except for some chipping to edges. 90% of chest in good condition maybe even 95%. Jw
