Likely J. H. Stouffer Co. (American (Chicago), 1902-1920/25), signed "K. Ryba". A very finely painted porcelain vase of typical form with tapering body under high shoulder and narrow neck, the body decorated with hand painted Biblical scene of Ruth collecting wheat in the fields of Boaz, the neck with black on gilt loose landscape decoration centered on the figure below. Porcelain unmarked, decoration signed lower right "K. Ryba". Approximate height 10.5". Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
