GEORGE JONES, ENGLISH MAJOLICA POTTERY GARDEN SEATS, C. 1870, SET OF TWO, H 17 3/4", DIA 11 1/2":Each having a circular top raised on three naturalistically styled branch-form supports roped at the center and accented by grape bunches and vines, atop a tripartite base, glazed in green and brown with golden yellow and purple accents. One seat signed at the underside with a raised mark featuring "GJ" overlapping (circa 1861-1873, see photo).
