After Leochares (Greek, 4th century BC), "Apollo Belvedere", patinated bronze sculpture, unsigned. Lifesize Classical antiquity figural garden sculpture after the famous marble statue of the Apollo Belvedere currently housed at the Vatican Museum in Italy. Sculpture depicting the Greek god, Apollo standing in contrapposto at full length as an archer (just shot arrow), hair curled with strophium, quiver over shoulder with draped chlamys (robe), beside a log and with modesty leaf on pelvis. Overall approximate height 71.5", width 31.25", depth 21".
