Continental School, 19th century. "Natura Morte with Ducks", oil on canvas, apparently unsigned. Vertical still life painting in depiction of a natura morte scene with a rabbit and fowl resting on a table amid loose wheat stalks, beside a handled pottery vessel, basket, lemon, and knife, the wall behind with brick showing through broken plaster. Framed approximately 28" x 22". Unframed approximately 24.125" x 18.125". Provenance: From the Collection of Mr. Joseph Hardy, Jr., Rabun Gap, Georgia.
