Rococo style polychrome and parcel gilt decorated three drawer commode with serpentine top over a conforming case with three drawers, painted with perching blue birds with in rococo cartouche, over a shaped base, on cabriole legs terminating in scrolled toes, the sides with similar decoration. Height 36.5", width 40', depth 20".Provenance: Estate of Mr. Charles Edward Brodnax "Ned" Hansell, Mimosa Hall, Atlanta, Georgia.
