GEORGIAN STERLING SILVER OPEN SALTS, LONDON & EDINBURGH, 18TH CENTURY, THREE, DIA 2 1/2":Including 1 with a beaded rim, hallmarks include crowned leopard, lion passant, date letter "C" (1758-1759), and partially rubbed maker's mark, possibly for David Hennell, H. 1 1/2", Dia.2 1/2" (1.74 troy oz.); 1 with a gadrooned rim, rubbed crest at one side, hallmarks include crowned leopard, lion passant, date letter "R" (1772-1773), and partially rubbed maker's mark, H.1 3/4", Dia.2 1/2" (2.12 troy oz.); and 1 with a scalloped rim, initialed "M", hallmarks are rubbed but include thistle and Gothic date letter, possibly "F" (c. 1760-1761), H.1 3/4", Dia.2 3/4" (2.92 troy oz.). Three salts total.
