GEORGE III SILVER POCKET WATCH IN A TORTOISE CASE, JN. GLOSTER, LONDON, 1767:The pocket watch having a hand-painted scenic dial depicting a harbor town with a cow at the fore, within a tortoise case, with key. The works marked "Jn. Gloster London 17466". Hallmarks on the case are a crowned leopard, lion passant, date letter "m" and a fleur de lis. Old paper within reads "Jn Gloster London 1767."
