CHINESE CARVED, GILDED & POLYCHROME WOOD ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENT, H 11 1/2", L 38":Large carving depicts two dragons pushing a pierced sphere towards each other. Both figures have a character on their heads, which appears to be the Chinese character for abundant. The consignor was told that the piece was removed from a temple.
