AMERICAN BLOWN & ETCHED GLASS CENTERPIECE BOWL & COMPOTES, PROBABLY BY SINCLAIRE, THREE, H 3" & 8":Elegantly designed set consists of a large centerpiece bowl, H. 3", Dia. 13 3/4", and 2 compotes, H. 8 1/4", Dia. 8 5/8". All are decorated with a delicately etched motif of flowers and geometric motifs at the well, border and also as a border on the foot of each compote; all pieces are trimmed in a rich cobalt blue. Both compotes have an etched number "439-24"; no apparent markings. Purchased by consignor from a Detroit Institute of Arts auction.
