ROYAL VIENNA COVERED URN, 'APOLLO UNTER DEN MUSEN', C. 1900, H 11", W 5":The porcelain urn having figural scenes in which one depicts Apollo between two women and the other depicts three men and is signed "Hemrick". The urn and lid share a cobalt blue ground, raised fired gold accents, and double mask handles at two sides. The underside, by the hardware, is marked with a blue beehive, under glaze, and "Austria" and "Apollo Unter den Musen" are painted on the underside of the base.
