British, Early 20th century. Carved ivory figural mounted walking stick or cane with head of world renowned actor and comedian Charlie Chaplin (English, 1889-1977) wearing black bowler hat with signature mustache. Figure with brown glass eyes, button on back of shirt collar causes eyes to shift and pink tongue on figure to extend in playful response. Head mounted to wooden shaft support with sterling silver band marked with sterling mark and "259". Approximate length 36.25".
