PAINTED ROSEWOOD & EGLOMISE CLOCK, C. 1840, H 24", L 14":Elaborately decorated case is lacquered in most portions, exposing only a small portion of rosewood which is also stencil decorated, with a fruit filled urn, and grape leaf and cluster motifs. The eglomise glass panel has decoration of a castle, that is partially obscured by trees and the enameled face is accented by floral motifs. Includes 2 weights and a pendulum. H 24 1/2", L 14"
