Ben Smith (American (Atlanta, Georgia), 20th century). "Processional Figure with Mask" - 1969, edition 30/55, monumental woodblock print with hand painted red accents, pencil signed and titled lower right "Processional Figure with Mask 30/55 Ben Smith 1969 Ink". Woodblock depicts a female standing in profile dressed in a black shroud that extends up to cover her ears, her hair cascading down her back in an arched form with red accenting framing her face, the figure holding a mask mimicking her own face just in front of her body in a scaly hand that is obscured by the cape which also holds a dangling rosary. Framed approximately 52.75" x 41.5", sight size approximately 50.575" x 39.5".
