GOURDEL, VALES & CO. ENGLISH STERLING SILVER BELT BUCKLE, 5" W., C1919:interlocking joining halves with both having a pierced design of vine and leaf design; exhibits Birmingham marks with a 1919 date letter 'u' and 'G V & Co. (Gourdel, Vales & Co.) all stamped on the front side at opposite ends.
