ROOKWOOD 'LONE ELK-SIOUX INDIAN' POTTERY VASE, BY GRACE YOUNG, 1900, H 8 1/2", DIA 6":Finely painted vase, shape 902C, is decorated with an American Indian portrait, depicting Lone Elk (Sioux). Impressed on the underside with the R-P mark with fourteen flame points along with "902C", and incised with artist's initials and "Lone Elk-Sioux".
