PURCHASED 1989 AT Galerie Beauborg, Paris Canvas mounted on wood stretcher and wood panel. Arman, a French-born American artist, was a founding member of the Nouveau Réalisme movement in Paris in the 1960s, and is perhaps best known for his 'accumulations' and sculptural works with paintbrushes.
