PURCHASED 1989 AT Galerie Beauborg, Paris Canvas mounted on wood stretcher and wood panel. Arman, a French-born American artist, was a founding member of the Nouveau Réalisme movement in Paris in the 1960s, and is perhaps best known for his 'accumulations' and sculptural works with paintbrushes. He passed away in 2005 at the age of 76. Artist interviewed by Jean-Luc Chalumeau of Galerie Beaubourg, Paris. Catalogue included.
