GERMAN REGIMENTAL PORCELAIN BEER STEINS, 1945-1978, 2 PCS. , H 9 1/2":two replica German regimental beer steins, one having a pewter hinged lid, a winged railroad wheel and a train locomotive finial. Inscribed: '3rd Bavarian Pioneer Battalion 3rd Company -Ingolstadt - 1911-1913' Shows various military scenes with a lithopane on the interior showing a soldier saying good-by to a woman. Second stein has a pewter hinged lid with an eagle finial and a lion with shield; inscribed: 'Bavarian Airship Battalion-Munich 1910'; lithopane on interior showing a soldier saying good-by to a woman. Both have 'Made In Germany' mark on undersides.
