Likely Australian, 20th century. A dramatic opal boulder specimen in ironstone matrix, this precious opal has rainbows of color ranging from washes of deep blue to turquoise to rich purples along with pinpoints of red and green fire. Approximate height 2", length 3.5". Approximate weight 291 grams. Provenance: From the Estate of Mary L. Haugk, Lawrenceville, Georgia.
