GEORGE III STERLING TEASPOONS, TONGS & LADLE, LONDON & GLASGOW, C. 1810-1818, EIGHT, L 5" - 7":Including 1 sterling sauce ladle from Glasgow, with maker's initials "RG &S" enclosed within a square, stamped also with the king's profile, a tree, a lion passant and the date letter B (1820); 1 pair of sugar tongs, stamped with lion passant, date letter b, king's profile and maker's initials "SH SR IED" enclosed within a rectangle (name not traced, London, 1817-1818); and 6 teaspoons by the following makers: S. Godbehere, E. Wigan & James Bult; William Eley, E. Fearn & William Chawner, Wildman Smith; all are stamped with city mark of London, date mark of Q (1810), the king's profile and a lion passant (indicating sterling). Totaling approximately 6.30 trz. All are monogrammed.
