ITALIAN CARVED OAK ARMCHAIRS, PAIR, H 57'', W 29'', D 29'': Raised on elaborate turned legs, with lower stretchers. Ornately decorated with carved figural lion, floral, and leaf designs; depicting the face of a bearded man on a lower stretcher, and at the back. The back is intricately designed, with a center castle scene surrounded by acanthus leaf decoration; all below two crowned crosses, which are flanked by lion figures.
