FARMER STERLING & CHINESE JADE MOUNTED BOX, H 4", W 7 1/2", D 6":A sterling silver box set with four jade plaques about the exterior and two plaques at the hinged cover, raised on four jade bead feet, stamped at the underside "Edward I. Farmer/New York" and "Sterling" (see additional photos). Each pierced jade plaque is light celadon in color and is carved with a dragon among foliage or birds, measuring 5 1/2" x 2 1/4", approximately. From the Collection of John P.
