Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) style polychrome pottery figural sculpture depicting a horse and male rider wearing helmet. Horse standing on all four legs with hand slightly bent down wearing red accented cloth blanket. Male figure with rounded cheeks, remnants of black mustache and thin eyebrows. Hands with holes that likely originally held objects. Unmarked. Approximate height 12.9", width 4.2", depth 10.75".
