ANNA THOMPSON DODGE DILLMAN LOUIS XVI STYLE ARMCHAIRS, SET OF FOUR, BEAUVAIS TAPESTRY:Carved frames. Attributed to Georges Jacob. Wool and silk Beauvais tapestry upholstery. Probably purchased by Lord Duveen for Mrs. Anna Thomson Dodge Dillman. Three yellow tags from chairs which were acquired from L. Alavoine (agent). H 36", W 26", D 22". Similar armchairs are on exhibit at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Circa 1810.
