CONTINENTAL SILVERED/GILT METAL ACCOUTREMENT, DATED 1661, L 50", POSSIBLY A MARRIAGE BELT, LAIBACH:Possibly a sivlonot, or Judaic marriage belt, comprising ten rectangular links with gilt figures flanking an urn, joined by groups of links (totaling 53), terminating in a floriform with hook on the reverse, stamped with a crown and crest and inscribed "I. K. P. T. R. A./1661" (see additional photo); the loop at the opposite end is marked with an eagle and number 13 within an oval, indicating .813, and K indicating Laibach (Ljubljana), Austria-Hungary, circa 1806 (see additional photo). Weighs approximately 566 grams.
