Pennsylvania red, navy blue, and white jacquard coverlet by Philip Schum , the corners inscribed "Washington. Hail 1869", the top and bottom edges inscribed "Made. by. Philip. Schum. Lancaster. PA.", the borders decorated with buildings, flags, horses, birds, eagles, ships, foliage, busts of Washington, and small steamboats in corners, the interior medallion with floral, starburst, and geometric designs, 84" x 79".
