Manner of Salvador Dali (Spanish/ French, 1904-1989). "Surrealist Violin in Landscape", oil on canvas, signed lower right "S. Rodriguez-Arte". Continental School surrealist painting in tones of red and green with a malformed violin at left intersected at the strings by an organically heart shaped structured ribbon form through which is seen many pages of lined paper near center and a diminutive grand piano to right as seen from above, the scene with horizon line just above center with greens above and below, with a field of red below horizon line at left of violin. Framed approximately 26.25" x 30.25", unframed approximately 22.125" x 21.25".
