Three drawers at the frieze above two paneled doors. Peg construction. Provenance, owned by Ledlie L. Laughlin, of Princeton, New Jersey, author of "Pewter in Americfrom Williams on file. Original brass drawer pulls and three drawers are dovetailed. Drawer sides [pine] appear to be original with many old hand made square nails at bottoms. Center drawer has original lock. Left drawer appears like something spilled on inside or maybe has scorched bottom. Right drawer has large crack in base and is badly stained. Door hinges are replaced. Original back boards. Jw
