Heyward House (American), mid 20th century. A maple and maple veneered occasional or side table, the round top comprising four burled maple veneers and maple crossbanding over a maple veneered apron with a molded rectangular frieze drawer with patinated bronze pulls with patera backplates over a scalloped skirt, all raised on four slender Queen Anne style cabriole legs surmounted by shell and scroll carved knees and terminating in small pad feet. Approximate height 30", diameter of top 24.25".
