St. John (American, founded 1969), circa 1970s. A ladies vintage colorblock knit dress with cream colored upper with shirt collar and open lapel, fitted cuffs, and v-neck, the bottom in black as a midi length pencil skirt, accompanied with a black dotted cream silk scarf joined at the bottom in a loop form. Label to interior neck "St. John for I. Magnin" and indicating US size 10. Width across shoulders approximately 14.75", length back of collar to hem approximately 47".
