STANLEY TIGERMAN (1930-) & MARGARET MCCURRY PORCELAIN 'WINGS' FOOTED BOWL, H 7 1/2", W 11 1/2":A round footed porcelain bowl flanked by pairs of wings as handles. Created by Stanley Tigerman (1930-), designed by Margaret McCurry (born c. 1943), and manufactured by Swid Powell, circa 1989. Measures H.7 1/2" x 11 1/2" x 8 7/8" overall. Provenance: The Estate of Roger Margerum (1930-2015), a Detroit-based architect known for his innovative light filled designs. His works include the Ambassador Bridge shelter, The Air force Academy in Colorado Springs, Hart Plaza, and his own home, a 45 degree polygon house built on Detroit’s east side once featured in the Fall 2008 issue of Detroit Home magazine.
